National Nurse Aide Assessment Program NNAAP Examination Test Preparation Study Guide
The NNAAP exam is administered by the American Red Cross.The examination is an evaluation of nurse aide-related knowledge, skills, and abilities. The NNAAP Examination consists of both a Written (or Oral) Examination and a Skills Evaluation. The purpose of the NNAAP Examination is to test if the candidate can understand as well as perform the job safely.
Format Of National Nurse Aid Assessment Program (NNAAP) Exam:
There are two parts if the NNAAP examination- the Written (or Oral) Examination and the Skills Evaluation. Both the examinations are administered on the same day.
The Written Examination consists of 70 multiple-choice questions. In case the candidate has difficulty in reading English, an oral examination may take place. This oral examination consists of 60 multiple choice questions as well as 10 reading comprehension questions.

The second part of the exam consists of Skills Evaluation where the candidate is evaluated on the basis of performance of 5 randomly selected nurse aide skills. The candidate will be evaluated by a Nurse Aide Evaluator
