The National Council for Therapy Recreation Certification Exam (NCTRC) is developed by the National Council For Therapeutic Recreation Certification ( NCTRC), a non-profit organisation established in 1981. The exam ensures that the candidate has the ability necessary for the entry in this profession.

Format Of The National Council for Therapy Recreation Certification (NCTRC) Exam:


The exam consists of a base test and upto 6 testlets. The candidates are supposed to complete the base test, consisting of 90 questions , in 86 minutes. The total time alloted to finish with the whole test, including the testlets, is 3 hours. Questions in the test are included from the following content areas:
