GACE Business Education Exam Study Guide
Business Education is the subject which includes knowledge of economics, marketing, commerce etc. These core topics should be studied on the first hand to get qualifed as an eligible educator. GPSC gives several facilities to the candidates for the ease of filing application. Candidate can register himself through internet, telephone or by direct mail. Candidate can create his account on the online forum of the GPSC, specially created for the GACE aspirants. GACE Business Education Exam is composed of two sub tests. Candidate has to clear both the sub tests to get the certification.
Eligibility for GACE Business Education Exam
To appear in GACE Business Education Exam, candidate needs to follow guidelines of the GPSC board.
For renewable certification- candidate needs to have bachelor degree and certification from the state approved college.
For non renewable certification- candidate needs to have bachelor degree and should be enrolled in any state run certification program.
Format of GACE Business Education Exam
GACE Business Education Exam is composed of two sub tests. Sub tests one includes subjects of common business education like management of business, law and ethic governing business strategies, and accounting status. Number of questions covered from these topics is 28, 16, and 16 respectively. Both business management and accounting accounts for one subjective question each.
In sub test II, topics like economics and personal financing, marketing strategies, communication and technology in business are covered. These topics carry unequal weightage in GACE Business Education Exam. Economics and finance carries 16 objectives and one subjective question. Marketing includes 16 objective questions and business management and technology carries 28 objective questions and 1 subjective question.
Scoring of GACE Business Education Exam is done on the scale of 300. Out of which 220 are the minimum marks. 80% weightage of the marks is given to objective questions and 20% to constructed response system. Candidate should focus upon the objective part very nicely to score good in the exam.
