GACE Birth To Kindergarten Exam Study Guide


Georgia Professional Standards Commission is the board which conducts examination to give certification to the eligible candidates. Candidate gets the permission to teach in the Georgia state once he gets the certification from the GPSC. Candidate needs to appear in Georgia Assessment for the Certification of Educators to achieve the certification.

Candidate appearing in GACE Birth to five Exam needs to enroll himself with the GPSC board. Candidate can file the application through internet, telephone or paper format. Candidate needs to duly self attest all the documents and even the answer sheet as it will be declared null and void without it.

Eligibility of GACE Birth to Kindergarten Exam


To appear for GACE Birth to five Exam, candidate needs to meet all the eligibility conditions issued by the board. To get the renewable certification, Candidate should be a bachelor degree holder and a certificate holder. If the candidate does not possess certification from any state approved college then he can apply for the non renewable certification.

Syllabus of GACE Birth to five Exam include following topics:-

Format of GACE Birth to Five Exam


GACE Birth to five Exam consists of two sub tests. Sub test I has 60 objective and 2 subjective questions. Out of these 60 objective questions 24 questions are from relationship maintenance and rests are from child growth and development. Sub test II has 60 objective questions and 2 subjective queries. Sub test II include questions from teaching methods and curriculum development. Scoring of GACE Birth to five Exam is done on the scale of 300, out of which 220 are the minimum marks. Candidate is eligible to apply again for the exam after 30 days if he falls short of the marks in the first attempt.
