In write up section candidate is said to write an article on the assigned topic. This writing component is not for measuring the candidates proficiency in grammar but it is to test the subjective and creative skills in the subject. The topics which are important are basic principles of art and design, tools and techniques used in art, art in ancient times, art in modern world, relation between art and history, perspective of individual in art etc. The entire score range is converted on the scale of 300 out of which 240 is the passing marks. The total duration for completion the test session is 240 minutes which is sufficient to complete both the parts.
