Legal nurse certified consultant is a certification provided by American legal nurse consultant certification board (ALNCCB) and national alliance of certified legal nurse consultants (NACLNC). Clearing the LNCC examination will allow you work with the medical or health related organizations.

Eligibility for LNCC - Legal Nurse Certified Consultant Exam

The applicants for the LNCC examination should have a current registered nurse license and must have been employed for five years in the safe field with an experience of 2000 hours in the job.

Format for LNCC - Legal Nurse Certified Consultant Exam

The legal nurse certified consultant examination consists of 200 questions that the applicants are required to solve in a time span of four hours. The examination is based on the legal consulted programs and may cover the following subject areas over which the knowledge and skills of the registered nurses are evaluated:

• Medical malpractice
• Personal injury
• Product liability/toxic tort
• Workers compensation
• Life care planning risk management

The examination fee for the members of ALNCCB is a $275 non member is $375. The LNCC remains valid for five years and after that the licensed nurse who have at least 2000 hours of experience in the last five years are eligible for recertification and more over the candidate must have complete 60 hours of continuing education.
