The Uniform Standards of Professional Appraiser Practice (USPAP) Exam is designed and administered by the Appraiser Qualifications Board (AQB) throughout the united states. The purpose of the examination is to assess whether or not the candidate has the basic knowledge required to appraise residential properties with certain restrictions.

Format of the Uniform Standards of Professional Appraiser Practice (USPAP) Exam:


The USPAP exam is offered in multiple choice format. The exam consists of 165 questions of which 15 are pretest items while 150 are scored. The following subject areas are tested in the examination:
