Indiana CORE Assessments (042) School Librarian test

School librarians also keep books and learning materials organized, planning programs and events, teaching or training other staff in matters technology and databases.

Fees and Structure of the (042) School Librarian test

The test fee for the (042) School Librarian test is $114. The registration is valid for a maximum of one year from the date of issue. When one fails to schedule a test appointment date within one year his or her registration expires and does not receive a refund.

The School Librarian exam offered by the Indiana CORE Assessments comprises of 100 computer-based multiple-choice questions. Just like other Indiana CORE Assessment tests, this examination is taken within 2 hours with the first 15 minutes enabling the candidate to watch a CBT tutorial and view a nondisclosure agreement. The remaining one hour forty-five minutes are for taking the test.

Also, the score ranges from 100 to 300 with the minimum score for passing the test being 220. The candidate's score report is provided immediately one completes the test and will remain available in the student's account for 10 business days.
