Eligibility for GACE Science Exam
Bachelor degree and certification from the state approved college is a must condition for GPSC certification. Candidate can get renewable certification from the board if he owns a certification. If the candidate is only enrolled for the certification program then also he can apply for the certification. This type of certification will be non renewable till the time candidate does not complete the certification. Candidate should meet all the eligibility criteria listed by board to appear for GACE Science Exam
Format of GACE Science Exam
GACE Science Exam includes two sub tests. Each sub test includes objective and subjective questions. Candidate should practice well for these types of questions as 80% weightage is given to objective questions and 20% weightage is given to subjective ones.
Sub test I
- Earth sciences 30 objective questions and 1 subjective question
- Life sciences 30 objective questions and 1 subjective question
Sub test II
- Physical sciences 36 objective questions and 1 subjective question
- Science characteristics 24 objective questions and 1 subjective question
Scoring of GACE Science Exam is done on the scale of 300, out of which 220 are the minimum marks required to get the certification.
