The certified registered nurse first assistant (CRNFA) examination is conducted by CCI i.e. competency and credentialing institute. These registered nurses are operating for those patients that are receiving through surgical procedures. The certificate for CRNFA provides the registered nurses that are eligible for handling surgical patients as well as they perform pre-operative and post-operative functions and measurements.
Eligibility for CRNFA - Certified Registered Nurse First Assistant Exam
In order to take this exam for the certification of CRNFA one must require the licensure for registered nurse with at least the degree of bachelors or higher. The candidate must be a nurse practitioner certified in your specialty. You must have practices as a RNFA for a part time or full time within two years earlier to the application.
Format for CRNFA - Certified Registered Nurse First Assistant Exam
This is a computer based exam. The exam has 150 multiple choice questions that the candidates are required to complete within three hours. To give this exam applicants are subjected to deposit their fees $425 and $500 for members and non-members of AORN respectively.
