Format of ABCTE Physics Exam
Since physics is a subject with enlarged branches hence the candidate should be thorough of all the branches of it. The main areas covered in the test are kinematics, rotational motion, Newtons law, gravitation, fluid mechanics, thermodynamics, electricity, electrostatics, magnetism, electric current, waves, frequency, amplitude, oscillation, optics, faradays law, amperes law etc. these topics carry unequal weightage hence the candidate should prepare it accordingly. This test carries 125 questions. The total duration for attempting the test is 240 minutes. The questions are objective type. Tools like scientific calculator and formula sheet is provided to the candidate. The entire score of the candidate is converted on the scale of 500. To get certification as a proficient teacher, applicant has to atleast possessed 258 marks out of 500. To get certification as a distinguished teacher, applicant must secure atleast 344 marks out of 500.
